It is now easier to access the services PSCU Credit Union with the opening of its new branch at Mid Centre Mall, Chaguanas. The credit union, which established operations in Chaguanas in July 2009, was previously located at Plaza de Montrose.

At an open house yesterday, PSCU vice president Yvette Hall said the new location offers greater accessibility and convenience to members and residents.

“We are truly excited for what is a defining moment in the history of our credit union. The PSCU celebrates 52 years of financial strength and viability,” she said. “We look forward to providing our usual exceptional service to our members at this location.”

Hall said despite tough economic times, PSCU officials are confident that T&T will weather the storm.

Susan Nurse, general manger, who echoed similar sentiments, said the credit union offers competitive products and services, including financial planning seminars to help members achieve their financial goals.

“This event provides an opportunity for the Chaguanas community to visit and learn about the benefits of becoming members of our credit union along with the products and services we offer.

“We are excited about our new location and invite members of the public to visit our branch,” Nurse said. Chaguanas Mayor Gopaul Boodhan said the relocation is of great benefit to the community.

He said: “We always appreciate expansion because Chaguanas started off as a very small business community and look how far we have grown today. So it’s of great importance to us especially in the area of business growth and development. We encourage everyone to come and do business here.”
